{"id":2486,"date":"2021-08-24T11:55:49","date_gmt":"2021-08-24T11:55:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ikodor.ee\/toode\/raudbetoontalad\/"},"modified":"2022-03-13T19:49:03","modified_gmt":"2022-03-13T17:49:03","slug":"reinforced-concrete-beams","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/ikodor.ee\/en\/product\/reinforced-concrete-beams\/","title":{"rendered":"Reinforced concrete beams"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Use and technical conditions<\/h3>\n<h4>Scope of application:<\/h4>\n<p>Precast reinforced concrete beams are mainly used for bridging openings in building structures.<br \/>\nThe beams required are selected according to the gauge of the beam cross-section, the opening<br \/>\nto be bridged, and the load on the beam.<\/p>\n<h4>Standards:<\/h4>\n<p>The beams must be designed in accordance with:<br \/>\nEVS-EN 1992-1-1:2005+NA:2007<br \/>\nThe beams must be manufactured in accordance with:<br \/>\nEVS-EN 13225:2013<\/p>\n<h4>Storage and transport:<\/h4>\n<p>Mountable reinforced concrete beams to be assembled are stored on a tight horizontal substrate.<br \/>\nA supportive squared timber is placed under each end of the beam (e.g. 100 \u00d7 100 mm). The<br \/>\nmaximum distance of the supportive squared timber from the beam ends is 300 mm. The beams<br \/>\nare transported and stored in a single layer.<\/p>\n<h4>Lifting:<\/h4>\n<p>Mountable reinforced concrete beams may only be lifted from hooks designed for this purpose.<br \/>\nBoth traverse and slinging devices can be used for lifting. When lifting with slinging devices,<br \/>\ncare must be taken to ensure that the angle of inclination of the slinging devices, measured from<br \/>\nthe horizontal surface of the beam, is not less than 60\u00b0 and not greater than 90\u00b0.<\/p>\n<h4>Montage:<\/h4>\n<p>Mountable reinforced concrete beams are supported horizontally on the structures. The beams<br \/>\nhave their own fixed lower surface and upper surface. The nominal length of beams for<br \/>\nsupporting structures shall be at least 300 mm. The beams are supported on a layer of liquid<br \/>\nmortar to achieve an even support surface.<\/p>\n<h4>Environmental conditions:<\/h4>\n<p>Mountable reinforced concrete beams are designed to work in dry or permanently wet<br \/>\nconditions. Environmental class XC1 \u2013 concrete for indoor use with low humidity; concrete<br \/>\nthat is constantly submerged. When storing beams outdoors in sub-zero temperatures, the<br \/>\nenvironmental class is XF1 \u2013 moderately saturated with water, without antifreeze.<\/p>\n<h4>Loads:<\/h4>\n<p>Mountable reinforced concrete beams to be assembled are designed to take on vertical loads<br \/>\napplied onto the beams. The beams are designed to work according to a single span simple<br \/>\nbeam scheme. The use of beams as cantilever beams is prohibited.
